Funds are great ways to invest. Fund selection is key. A balanced fund may be for you if you are risk adverse. The Permanent Portfolio symbol PRPFX is up over 11% per year for the last 10 years and seldom goes down in value. Other good balanced funds are out there as well.

Debt negotiation appears to be evolving as a true strategy for people dealing with debt. For the past several years I have been following the trend rather closely and it is difficult to track what you are getting for your investment. I am aware that there are quite a few debt settlement providers available in the market that provide great services and the customers honestly receive great benefit, but I have also seen there are tons of debt consolidation providers available today that are only focused on collecting customer payments and signing up new customers. This is why there obviosly is new fed regulation covering the debt industry. My cousin contracted a debt settlement service provider and was very very very satisfied with the results.
